Position Type: Part-Time 16–28 hours/week
Pay Rate: $6.00/hour base wage + tips (Estimated total compensation: $20.00+ per hour)

We are seeking energetic, customer-focused Taproom Bartenders to join our team for our upcoming opening!
Key Responsibilities
- Beer Service & Knowledge: Guide guests through our draft list, offer tastings, explain beer styles and flavor profiles, and serve perfect pints and crowler fills.
- Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional, friendly service to every guest.
- POS Operations: Accurately process transactions using our Point of Sale system, handle cash, and process card payments cleanly.
- Taproom Maintenance & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area. Perform daily opening/closing duties, washing/restocking glasses, wiping down tables, and general cleaning tasks.
- Safe Alcohol Service: Verify IDs, monitor guest consumption, and enforce responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience: 1+ years of bartending or hospitality experience preferred; passion for craft beer is a plus.
- Certifications: TIPS Alcohol Server Certification (if not obtained Hen & Hound will host certification training)
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for 6 to 8 hours at a time; comfortable lifting, moving, or maneuvering kegs and cases of beer.
- Availability: Must have reliable weekend availability (Friday evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays).
